Born and raised in New York City, Maxwell Osborne makes up one half of Public School, the brand that, since its launch in 2008, has taken the men's and womenswear world by storm. Just as Osborne and his business partner, Dao-Yi Chow, are New York natives, the clothes are both designed and produced right here in NYC. The pair met while working at Sean John, where Osborne oversaw all woven design; since breaking out on their own, the duo have received rave reviews from the press and are carried in leading retailers around the world. After being included in the CFDA's first Fashion Incubator program, they received the foundation's Swarovski Menswear Award and won the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund in 2013. Today, Public School is celebrated for its eccentric fashion shows and presentations that consistently bring in a star-studded crowd.
