WHERE IS YOUR FAVORITE TRAVEL DESTINATION? I love Morocco for so many reasons – the varying landscape (city, mountains, desert, ocean) rich culture, colorful textiles, delicious food and of course: romance.
IF YOU COULD CHOOSE ONE PERSON TO SHOW YOU “THEIR NEW YORK CITY”, WHO WOULD IT BE? I would have to say Patti Smith after reading “Just Kids”.
WHAT OR WHO HAS INSPIRED YOU RECENTLY AND WHY? My friends. I am blessed to have such talented, creative, and amazing people in my life who constantly push me to work harder, play harder, and be a better person.
WHAT MUSIC ARE YOU LISTENING TO THESE DAYS? I love Blood Orange, and Metronomy – also the latest Twin Shadow and MNDR albums are really good.
WHAT ALBUM OR SONG WOULD YOU CONSIDER YOUR SOUNDTRACK TO NYC? I would say GrandLife’s ‘This is New York’ compilation. It features all of our favorite New York bands. We’ve just been working on the 2nd edition that will be out in a few weeks.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE BRUNCH SPOTS? There are so many great brunch spots in NYC, but some of my favorite spots in my neighborhood are Café Gitane for great coffee and avocado toast, I love Peels for yummy comfort food in the winter time, and Public has a great brunch. I love their Turkish eggs.
