Armand Limnander

As the executive editor of W Magazine, native Columbian Armand Limnander has been immersed in fashion journalism ever since moving to New York in 1996. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Limnander started out with brief stints in advertising and as a freelance writer before moving to the world of publishing, where he worked as a writer for Vogue and, editor at V Man, and, most recently, features editor at T: The New York Times Style Magazine.

If you could choose one person to show you “their New York City,” who would it be and why?
Halston. Alas, time travel is not a possibility.

What or who inspired you recently and why?
The Ryan Trecartin show at PS1. An incredible vision of futuristic global suburbia.
