What would the title of your autobiography be?
I’m passing on this question, just thinking about writing a memoir gives me the creeps.
What can’t you travel without and why?
Speakers. I can’t stand hearing music squeeze out of tiny hotel radios or laptop speakers.
Where is your favorite travel destination?
Hopefully the next place that I visit. But, I’m rarely more content that when I’m at Mala, a beach in Cap d’Ail, France that I’ve been going to every year since childhood.
If you could choose one person to show you “their New York City,” who would it be and why?
Peggy Guggenheim, during the 1940s, when she came back from Paris following the outbreak of the Second World War. Or maybe Swan from the Warriors, easy on the eye and at least he’d get me home in one piece.
What or who has inspired you recently and why?
Mike Katz – an MC/crowd hype guy at the Staten Island Yankees Stadium, where I saw a game the other weekend. He was so into getting the crowd excited, that I’m swearing to be a Staten Island Yankee fan for life, despite not understanding anything about baseball nor Staten Island.
