The Butcher’s Daughter

The Butcher’s Daughter is a self-described “vegetable slaughter house” in Nolita that feels light, airy, and vacation-like. It’s an aura evocative of L.A., where people work and socialize over healthy food and juice – a lifestyle. And a great spot to meet people for a juice or light vegan food and chill out and escape New York City for a bit. Top juices include the Rubies in the Dust (beet, carrot, ginger, local berries, plum, flax seed oil, rosemary) and their version of the greenest juice available, Stalks & Leaves (zucchini, celery, green leaf lettuce, spinach, watercress, lemon, dill) which is more inventive than most green juices. Their elixir shots, especially the Liquid Vitality, are highly reccommended. When feeling a little under the weather it supplements the body with the energy needed to get through the day.

On most Sunday mornings you will find me here. My favorite thing on the menu is their egg sandwich platter and their spicy kale Caesar salad
