Spring is just around the corner. Protect your peepers with something a little special. Next time you’re in the area, gear up for the change of seasons with Korean-born, Gentle Monster. The avant-garde eyewear brand, launched in 2011, has just opened the doors of their gallery-like retail space marking their entry into the US.
Much like New York City, Gentle Monster also believes in a realm where art and fashion can coexist harmoniously. This ideal translates into the brands other five flagships, with their NYC store no exception. Designed by Rafael de Cárdenas at Architecture at Large, the Grand Street location is a space where product is blended with a showcase of experimental and interactive art, constructed by the creatives of tomorrow.
As well as delivering a spectacular seasonal line, the brand has designed exclusive runway collections for Opening Ceremony, Tome and Hood By Air.
