The Works of Chloë Sevigny at Nitehawk Cinema
When Daily for 31 occurrences
Nitehawk is playing tribute to our personal favorite “It” girl, Chloë Sevigny, in celebration of her her new found success as a director.
In 1994 the New Yorker deemed Sevigny “the coolest girl in the world.” The title still holds true and since then she has also become the reigning queen of independent cinema. All throughout the month of April Nitehawk will be showing eleven different films Sevigny has played a role in throughout the last two decades. The curated series will also include 35mm screenings of her short films Kitty & Carmen and the feature Boys Don’t Cry. A Q&A between Sevigny and Karin Nelson, the Senior Features Editor at W Magazine, will be an event within the series as well. All of the films will run during Nitehawk’s midnite or brunch screenings.
