Juliette Campbell started producing the time traveling, speakeasy cabaret "Shanghai Mermaid" in 2007, which kicked off the current hot jazz scene, the vintage party scene, and new york's immersive party phenomenon. Shanghai Mermaid has since spawned several smaller soirées, including "Shanghai Express", exclusively at The Django, and the monthly "Moonlight and Music on the Hudson", on the Clipper City sailboat in the summer.
