FOOD: SMILE TO GO
SoHo's new Smile to Go serves up inventive Mediterranean cuisine that's good to go.
The team behind the eclectic yet homey Bond Street basement cafe, The Smile, will open a second branch of the popular spot on a tucked away corner in SoHo this week. The takeout-only spot, aptly named Smile to Go, will serve up orders for your dash-then-dine pleasure, including kale tarts, Israeli couscous, and yummy honey pies. Their unique brand of Mediterranean bodes well for the purpose of the place; full, rich flavors are translated into transportable bundles easy enough to grab and go. And we hear whispers that their coffee & espresso bar is going to be seriously good, so for a quick nosh and a speedy pick me up, this new little bar gets our vote.
