The industry is positively abuzz with excitement and there’s a palpable energy surrounding the 51 year-old fashion house, as fashion industry folk wonder what the noted photographer and designer will produce.

A short series of sneak peek campaign images were released a couple of weeks ago (seen above) hinting at the direction, with the next chapter to launch today.

As well as this, a preview of the first of Hedi Slimane’s Paris boutiques in Shanghai (of which the fit out, Slimane also designed) offers another glimpse into the aesthetic that Slimane seems to be administering.

When Slimane was Creative Director at Dior Homme in 2000-2007, he changed the way men dressed; Slimane became known for ‘redefining the male silhouette’.

With the runway show only 6 days away, Paris and Berlin Saint Laurent boutiques to soon to follow the launch of the Shanghai store, and the full campaign being released in December 2012, we can hardly wait.
