THE LOCALS: PARIS EDITION – PEDRO “BUSY P” WINTER

Terry Richardson, Pedro Winter, André Saraiva

Where do you currently reside?

Pedro: Paris!

What’s your occupation?

Pedro: Head of Ed Banger records, Lapdance DJ

What would the title of your autobiography be?

Pedro: 1-800-PEDRO

What can’t you travel without ?

Pedro: My crew. As a DJ you’re often on the road alone, I hate it.

What’s your favorite travel destination?

Pedro: I have the chance to travel a lot. I’m always so happy to come back home. I can safely say that my favorite destination is my home, Paris.

If you could choose one person to show you “their Paris”, who would it be?

Pedro: Honestly, I’d have to say myself. I really love my city, I know my way around.

What or who has inspired you recently?

Pedro: My older brother Thomas. He opened my ears and eyes. If you are ever in Paris, go visit his gallery: Le Salon, 12 rue Ramey 75018 Paris.

What’s your favorite restaurant in Paris?

Pedro: Le Petit Bleu, 23 rue Muller, 75018 Paris - Food is cheap, good, not healthy, heavy, from North Africa, and on top of Montmartre.

What’s your favorite Bar/Nightlife Venue in Paris, and why?

Pedro: Social club for the music, Le Pompon for the Gin & Tonic

What’s your favorite store/shop in Paris?

Pedro: Like real Parisians, I love BHV in Le Marais. It’ sour classic giant store where you can find everything you need. Of course, Colette too, and Bleu Noir on rue Durantin where you can get tattoos, tees, and great books.

What’s your favorite Museum/Gallery in Paris?

Pedro: Le Louvre, even if you’ve been there 20 times, you’re always amazed. I like Kamel Mennour gallery, and right now I’m dreaming of a OHWOW gallery in Paris.

What’s your “must do” recommendation for Paris visitors?

Pedro:  Climb Montmartre, or rent a scooter – best way to visit our city, free as a bird.
