MICHAEL BASTIAN S/S ’13 PRESENTATION
When it comes to an edgy take on classic mens fashion, Michael Bastian is more often than not, your one stop shop – that fact however doesn’t stop him from reaching out to some of the best and brightest names in the industry to give his S/S ’13 presentation just the right amount of pop, we’re talking about Audemars Piguet with their sleu of Royal Oak Watches, and Stubbs & Wootton shoes – two brands that we’re openly obsessed with.
The scene at Milk Studios was, as usual, controlled chaos. The show kicked off about 30 minutes after 12, at which point the star studded crowd (Sean Avery, Polo star Nic Roldan, and Olympic Fencing champ Tim Moorehouse) enjoyed 10 minutes of future classics. Allegedly, Bastian had been drawing inspiration from American artist Helen Frankenthaler, while also taking a big spoonful of everything that we loved about the 80′s – especially Donna Summer’s Love To Love You Baby.
