FASHION: FIVE SUMMER TRENDS – BY ROANNE ADAMS
As summer settles in, we’re excited to sport our newly created wardrobe, one that overflows with lightweight dresses and short shorts. With so many beautiful boutiques and fashion brands to choose from in NYC, it’s sometimes hard to narrow down the trends into individual looks and ideas.
With the conundrum in mind, GrandLife hailed renown art director & style maven, Roanne Adams for some advice on her 5 summer trends. And the result; Roanne created 5 incredible shop-able collages based upon her picks of the season.
As a local New Yorker, Roanne opened her design studio in TriBeCa in 2006 after being awarded New Visual Artist (20 under 30) by PRINT magazine. In 2010, she was named by NY Times Magazine as one of six “New York City’s outstanding, up and coming design professionals.” In 2011 she was among the select winners for ADC Young Guns 9, and most recently, Roanne was a jury member for the 91st annual ADC Awards.
Roanne epitomizes and perfectly encapsulates New York City style, and has refined the most recent trends into an easy to find guide to what to wear this season.
